In-home appointments are currently available on Mondays and Thursdays throughout East County San Diego. Please contact to book by either emailing team@livesmartchiropractic.com or through our online booking portal livesmart.janeapp.com to discuss your needs, schedule a visit, and verify insurance coverage and any out-of-pocket costs. Insurance billing will be available when applicable.

What is Therapeutic Breast Ultrasound?
Therapeutic ultrasound is a machine that uses high-frequency sound waves applied to the skin with a handheld device and conductive gel. In breastfeeding care, it has traditionally been used to help address localized breast discomfort and swelling associated with plugged ducts.
The treatment is noninvasive and is performed on the outside of the breast. Our goal is to provide individualized support to breastfeeding mothers experiencing breast discomfort in a comfortable, supportive setting.
Therapeutic ultrasound is a supportive service, not a substitute for medical evaluation. Breast inflammation can have several causes, and current guidance emphasizes avoiding aggressive massage or excessive heat. If you have worsening pain, redness, fever, or flu-like symptoms, seek prompt medical evaluation.
